Support and respect of balances

“The work of the faculty is exciting. It must maintain the main balances that are central to the school’s success: teaching innovation, research for the benefit of all our stakeholders, international standing and the assertion of the social and societal values ​​that underpin our identity and which must be constantly respected and proclaimed. Our role is therefore to ensure that everyone finds their place in our faculty and can benefit from the support they need to adapt to changes in our profession.” André Sobczak, who is pivotal in this complex organization, continues: “This year again, we have taken particular care, in connection with the innovation department, to support professors in teaching innovation, by proposing a best practices guide and by promoting the deployment of new course formats. We have also developed the Mentoring Program for Young Faculty so that they can benefit from ongoing support in their research projects and progress in their careers. And of course, we have taken care to respect a principle of perfect gender-equality between women and men, whether they be professors or associate professors.” A principle of equality that similarly applies to French and foreign teachers and which gives the school an image in line with its research agenda.
