2017
Social and solidarity project for the Audencia Bachelor’s degree program
Proposed at the end of the 2nd year, the Social and Supportive Assignment provides an opportunity for Audencia students taking the Bachelor’s degree course in Management to fulfil a personal project. In 2017, 35 students, or 20% of the class, were involved, in France or abroad, in serving disadvantaged people. After analyzing their motivations, searching for host organizations, fund-raising or preparing courses, the students undertook either alone or in groups to give up some of their free time for two months. They carried out tangible actions in terms of education, improving living conditions, awareness-raising about hygiene, taking in refugees or preserving biodiversity. The experience was exceptional, allowing these future citizens to prove their adaptability and humility when confronted with unforeseen events as well as cultural differences which profoundly changed their vision of society and sense of responsibility.
