SABS: A growing place in the Audencia Business School ecosystem
After less than a year of existence, Shenzhen Audencia Business School is attracting increasing a number of initiatives and visits. The wealth of the city’s industrial and tertiary ecosystem and its Asia-scale dynamism make it a destination of choice for rubbing shoulders with the new trends of the economy of both the continent and the world at large. Christophe Germain is delighted: “The School does not just deliver programs. It is a venue for exchange, sharing, meetings, visits and conferences in which students, faculty members and managers of companies or organizations connect, and through which everyone can learn, think, develop networks or seize the opportunities that arise on the professional level. For all these reasons, we shall welcome for example the students of the Executive MBA who will go on their business trip in Shenzhen next March.” Last year, it was the arrival of a large delegation of companies led by WWF France on the theme of innovation and sustainable cities that enabled the Audencia Business School CSR Chair, represented by its director, André Sobczak, to measure the extent of the initiatives taken by Shenzhen and Shanghai, the two Chinese cities piloting the “Low Carbon Cities” program. The integration of the school into the reticular fabric of Shenzhen is also a boon for Executive Education. Many senior executives from the largest companies in the city and region are among those taking part in the SABS Exec MBA.
