International Master’s Degree Courses in contact with business
The pro-active approach of the Director of the International Master’s Degree Courses, who wishes to get her students closer to business and confront them with the issues and strategies involved in the digitalization of the economy, has paid off. Through Professor Claire Champenois, the students of the International Master’s Degree in Management were invited to the offices of iAdvize in Nantes. The former start-up, now a major player in French Tech – 190 employees, 600 customers, located in Nantes, Madrid, London, Boston and Düsseldorf – offered its visitors a dizzying dive into the new codes of customer relations in version 2, even 3.0. “The visit was fully in line with the teaching cycle of the elective courses. The students worked on the new paradigms of the digital economy, the business model of a start-up in full change and were able to meet the CEO for a very free and stimulating sequence of questions and answers.” Claire Champenois made sure this temporary immersion at iAdvize did not stop there: “We then analyzed what we had seen and heard during this entrepreneurship visit.” As Olga Kapitskaia says, “The academic / professional mix is very useful for advancing our students’ analyses and knowledge.” After iAdvize, and thanks, this time to the contacts of Professor Sandrine Stervinou, the students headed to a cooperative transport company – Titi Floris – who also agreed to host a group of students in a similar perspective. A completely different company originating in the Social Solidarity Economy (SSE), it has no less than 145 associates and 800 employees! With a new approach, a new business model and a new relationship to management in a search for the singularities of the contemporary economy. “We intend to increase this kind of experience. These visits are highly rewarding for all the stakeholders,” concludes the director. Companies in the region, make yourselves known!
