2018
Increase the influence of Audencia Business School
“Signing agreements everywhere, as if to occupy the ground and boast we are everywhere is meaningless. Our ambition is to continue to build a coherent and complementary international collaborative network, an active network system at the service of our values. In this respect, 2018 will be no different from previous years. Naturally, this means signing new agreements – in South America, in Africa or in Europe – but above all it means creating a network in line with our fundamental requirements.” Desi Schmitt, Director of International Relations, illustrates her point, with examples: “That’s what we started doing in the United States, with Wellesley College, a women’s college with a certain Hillary Rhodam Clinton as one of their graduates. We want to offer our students, as early as 2018, the opportunity to go and study the drivers of female leadership by following the Contemporary Women’s Leadership Program. This type of transdisciplinary agreement fits well with some initiatives developed by Audencia Business School, including the online program Maximizing Global Business Performance jointly developed with Boston University and Tecnologico de Monterrey, with Emmanuelle Bernardin as Audencia’s lead professor. This gives a logical direction to our work. In the same spirit, we are going to join the partners of the twinning arrangement signed by the Greater Nantes metropolitan authority and the city of Hamburg and collaborate with Kühne Logistics University as part of our MSc in Supply Chain and Purchasing Management program. Our Food and Agribusiness program leading to a double degree jointly awarded by Audencia Business School and the European Institute of Design of São Paulo in Brazil is in reply to the same ambition of coherence and transdisciplinarity. To all these initiatives, we need to add an additional objective: that of further increasing the number of international students by 5%!”
2018 is going to be a busy year…
