Tailor-Made support acclaimed by students and recruiters
It is a core asset in the hands of Audencia Business School. And a trump card that a lot of its competitors do envy. The organization set up by the Corporate and Alumni Relations Department (DRED) to support students as they move into their careers is a well-honed mechanism which has been widely acclaimed by students and recruiters alike. And, incidentally, allows the Department to occupy the top rankings in the areas of proximity with companies, professional career development – first job and salary level – and the satisfaction of graduates. The school, in these three fields is respectively positioned, in the last ranking by L’Étudiant, in the fifth, fourth and first place among French business schools! It must be said that the DRED operates as a genuine hiring hall – commonly called headhunters. Backed by a network of specialized professional consultants by sector and business line, the Department, thanks to a voluminous company address book, connects students and managers in office to build a tailor-made curriculum. This network, which includes many more than the 22,000 graduates of the school alone, is activated according to the career goals formulated through frequent interviews between students and consultants. The professional meetings that follow, multiplied by the power of a digital platform – Together – co-built with graduates – participation in corporate forums – real or virtual on line with the Seekube offer – and the consultants’ permanent advice provides students with a highly effective professional guidance system. Proposed in the first year, this system allows Audencia Business School’s students to enter the job market as “veterans” of interviews and conditions of employment by sector, increasing their chance to reach the goals they have set for themselves. “The system we have developed in recent years is effective because we never take the place of students. Our goal is to enable them to conceive their dream, to formalize it and to make it come true. We are facilitators,” says Françoise Marcus, Director of the Corporate and Alumni Relations Department. Facilitators who know the markets and their irreplaceable players, state-of-the-art tools and a network of partners that together act as a wonderful career accelerator.
