An expanding faculty
With 113 professors, including 10 recruited in Nantes in 2017, the faculty of Audencia Business School is continuing its development in France and China, where seven professors are now working on the new campus in Shenzhen. André Sobczak, Academic Dean, talks about the challenge of such a level of recruitment: “The profiles we are looking for are extremely difficult to find as our expectations are high; we strive to recruit faculty members involved in research and pedagogy and open to business and society, with a keen interest in international issues, while respecting a strict principle of gender-equality between women and men. All these constraints placed end to end oblige us to be continually on the lookout so that the school always has qualified enough faculty to meet its needs. It is undeniable that Audencia’s standing, its academic reputation and the atmosphere that prevails within the faculty are valuable assets with which to achieve those goals, and even exceed them.”
Given the expected growth in the number of students on the campuses of Nantes, Paris and Shenzhen, it is a safe bet that 2018 will be no calmer than 2017!
